Foundation were approached by Queens University to design and project manage their new entertainment venue for the Student Union building in Belfast. The scheme had to be designed in every detail in advance of the site works to ensure permissions from the various University bodies were signed off. Licensing applications, fire licensing and building regulations permissions were granted before the off site manufacture of the components for the bar.
With an 8 week period for the construction Foundation elected to prefabricate the majority of the elements with craftsmen eight x four so that the main bar and DJ booth could be inspected before they were shipped off to Belfast for installation during which Foundation oversaw the installation on site with regular visits.
The bespoke stacking / portable furniture was manufactured to our deign by a local metalworker
